Our Home Church WNY in Depew is led by Pastor John Hancock and his wife, Beth (BJ). John was the Pastor of a church in New Mexico for 12 years before moving to New York, and worked as the Executive Director of Ministry of a church in Clarence.  John has a passion for returning church to the way it was for the 1st Century Church. With no building or budget, John and BJ are able to focus on the "main thing" - Jesus and people. The goal is to put all effort into making disciples and teaching them to follow Christ.

With their children grown and out of the house, both John and BJ work intentionally to support their family and ministry. John is intentionally employed as an Operations Manager in banking services. BJ is intentionally employed as a professional musician and teaches music at Christian Central Academy. She leads the music for Home Church WNY.  Both John and BJ work as biblical counselors as well. They enjoy having people hang out on Friday nights to learn more about Jesus.
